In 2018 Liwstar joined the Gazele Biznesu list, a ranking by the Polish business daily Puls Biznesu that recognises fast-growing companies. For our family business from Białystok, it confirmed that our chosen direction was working.
What is Gazele Biznesu?
The ranking rewards sustained revenue growth and profitability rather than a one-off result. It has highlighted dynamic Polish small and medium-sized companies since 2001.
How did we qualify?
Our model combined agricultural experience and family-owned land with expertise in renewable energy. Electricity and Guarantee of Origin sales became important pillars of the business.
What did the distinction teach us?
It confirmed that technology risk can be managed through good data and sound assets, opened conversations with new partners and encouraged us to continue investing for the long term.
